Competitive Analysis
We took the time to talk to our customers about the most important
and most frustrating aspects of the safety videos available on the market
today. Their primary complaint was that competitors' products frequently show
incorrect procedure, are dated, and are hard to relate to.
|
|
• OSHA regulations change constantly and vary by region.
|
|
• Specificity of training often fluctuates according to the project, and is
hard to anticipate.
|
|
• It's expensive and time consuming to produce up-to-date products in specific
areas that may lack substantial demand.
|
|
• Videography companies do not always employ safety experts.

Our intimate knowledge of the safety profession combined with our passion for
videography gives Crucible its competitive edge. Our investment made in time
and talent to create each product (e.g. capturing 2,000 specific construction or
industrial safety-related images and then assembling 105,000 words of paraphrased
OSHA standards) is not feasible for most competitors.
At Crucible, we have been end users of safety videos and multimedia products and
can relate to our customers’ situations. Our intimate knowledge of OSHA regulations,
effective safety techniques and real jobsite circumstances allow us to produce products
that are unique and very difficult to imitate. And our rugged, can-do attitude is
something that our customers appreciate.

CUSTOMER TESTIMONIAL
|
|
"As a safety consultant, my goal is to get people to understand
hazards and how people work around them, then affect changes in behaviors and
conditions on the worksite. Videos and multimedia presentations can be a big
help when implemented as part of a complete safety program. With Crucible's new
product, I have the ability to add my own slides with my own text, so I can add
specific slides in the middle of the presentation, which is a real advantage. I
have been using this product for six years at other companies and now I've just
purchased it for use myself."
